For the second time, the Tour de France had a ‘Grand Passage’ in Rotterdam. Sunday, 5th of July the second stage of the Tour rushed through Rotterdam. The WAACS ‘Tour de France café’ was open. From our balcony we had a magnificent view over the Coolsingel. And with a speed of light we saw the colourful peloton racing by twice.
Leader Bárta won the first intermediate sprint in Rotterdam. The overall winner of stage 2 was the German racer André Greipel.
