Earlier this year, WAACS crossed the Atlantic Ocean to Foothill Ranch, California with the task of making the Össur Rebound DUAL more competitive for the US brace market. The recently launched product is now being called the new go-to knee brace for added stability with osteoarthritis for both low and high impact activities, including even sliding sports.
Behind the scenes, this was a true example of cultural synergy: combining not only Dutch and American worlds, but also the strong visualization techniques at WAACS with the engineering expertise and awesome ideas of the Össur R&D team. Together and within a very short timeframe, we upgraded the overall look and feel of the Rebound DUAL, taking it from an anonymous knee brace to a sporty, contemporary (and competitive!) support accessory.
