WE ARE WAACS DESIGN
WAACS is a product design and engineering consultancy based in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. Since 1992, we have helped brands, manufacturers and OEM/ODM producers turn consumer insights and market opportunities into production-ready products for global markets.
Our multidisciplinary team combines consumer research, product design and engineering throughout the product development process. The people who use our products are our inspiration.

We design and develop consumer and professional products, user interfaces, structural packaging and connected products.
Our experience spans household appliances, medical devices and a wide range of products for international markets. We support clients from consumer insights, product strategy and concept design through engineering, prototyping and realisation.

HOW DO WE WORK?
We start by asking the right questions.
Some projects begin with a detailed brief. Others start with a consumer need, market opportunity or product challenge that still needs to be defined.
We combine consumer insights and design research with product design and engineering to develop feasible product solutions. Our approach considers user experience, technology, manufacturability and cost from the start.
We collaborate with international brands, R&D teams, suppliers and OEM/ODM manufacturers to bridge the gap between design and production, considering cost efficiency and scalability as products move towards production.
"NEW IS NOT ALWAYS BETTER. BETTER IS BETTER"
